Annie Ross - 1st Grade
Contact Email address - aross@lodisdaelem.org
Education -  Registered Nurse,  Bachelor of Arts, Master's of Education
Mrs. Ross upon graduating from high school went to La Sierra College and then Glendale Adventist Hospital and became a registered nurse.  When her daughters were in college and academy she went to Pacific Union College to obtain a Bachelor of Arts in Theology to become a nurse chaplain.  She was encouraged by the theology department to go into education and challenged to take a least one education class.  She enjoyed the class and went on to get her Masters in Reading Education.  She found that in teaching you could influence your “patients/students’ for nine months rather than the short one or two day hospital stay.  She has taught all grades, K-12, and believes that all students can achieve if they are encouraged, loved and if their learning style is capitalized on.  Helping children have a relationship with Jesus is her greatest ambition and she teaches Bible cross-curriculum through thinking and writing skills.  She believes first grade is the foundation for the rest of a student’s educational experiences.  She has Credential Endorsements for elementary and secondary education: Religion, Reading, English, Biology, General Science, History and Art.
